I received a fresh batch of the powder and it smells very potent. What should I do?
When a fresh batch of powder is made, it may take a day or two for the essential oils in it to "settle" and "calm down". To expedite this, you can simply take the lid off and leave the jar open (exposed to air) anywhere from a couple hours to a day or two depending on your particular preference. The scent will start changing bit by bit as the essential oils settle so we encourage you to play with it and find your favorite amount of dryness!
This jar seems so tiny! Will this amount of powder really last for at least 3 months?
Most of the deodorants on the market (even "natural" ones) contain various fillers and binders. Scent of Samadhi does not contain ANY of those. A such, it is extremely concentrated and most of our customers use a single jar for at least 3 months (some even up to 6 months). Use the enclosed scooper spoon to help you dig out a tiny bit of powder.
I tried it and the scent seems overwhelming to me.
A common mistake when first using Scent of Samadhi is using too much. It is extremely concentrated and it almost seems counter-intuitive how little is truly needed to make an effective deodorant and fragrance. We always recommend starting with a VERY small amount and then work your way up until you find your favorite quantity to give you the results and scent you desire.
Does it fade quickly?
No...it works as hard as you do, to keep you smelling wonderful. Think of it like wearing an essential oil blend that lasts soooo much longer than the oils!
Does it stain clothing?
Nope! In fact, to date, we have not had a single customer say it stained their clothing and we've been in business over 10 years!
Are there any side effects I should be aware of?
It’s very unlikely... There have been no major reported side effects with use of Scent of Samadhi. Some people, with very heightened sensitivities may experience minor skin irritation from its use. As with any topical oils, powders & lotions, a small test patch should be applied to the skin first before using it all over. People with severe allergies or pregnant should also be cautious before trying.
